Hi everyone, happy mid-week! It’s a beautiful, sunny day in Michigan, so I’m heading out for sushi and a girl’s day! I’ve had a pretty eventful week so far, so relaxing and enjoying some sushi sounds absolutely perfect!
My parents visited some family of ours in Louisiana, and my mom brought back some adorable pieces that she found at a local boutique! She picked out a few pieces for me specifically, and this dress was one of them! My mom has incredible taste, and I fell in love with this dress the moment she brought it home! I love wearing flowy, bohemian pieces during the warmer months, and I love how feminine this dress is!
The dress has beautiful detailing around the v-neck, which is also mimicked in the back of the dress! I absolutely love how the very bottom of the dress flares out, and how that was also captured by the addition of bell sleeves! I love when bohemian pieces include feminine touches, such as the v-neck as well as the “tutu” like qualities! I kept my shoes very neutral with my wedges, because I wanted to tie in the neutral detailing in the dress! I normally would have paired this with a lace-up pair of gladiators/wedges, but alas mine are not here yet (sigh). However I did play it up by adding my Pura Vida bracelets, my favorite crystal bracelets, and my Lokai bracelet!
