On To The Next Adventure

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you had a beautiful weekend!

I cannot even believe I am writing this post right now, because I officially graduated from GVSU this past weekend! It doesn’t even feel real, and I cannot believe how quickly these four years went by! Grand Rapids has been my home, and I feel so blessed to have attended GVSU! I met my best friends/future bridesmaids, was on the coed cheerleading team, joined Delta Zeta, completely switched my major and discovered my new path, was a Sponsored Stylist for Victoria’s Secret PINK, a social media intern for CollegeFashionista, a marketing intern for University Tees, and the list continues!

Some of my favorite memories were spent on my campus, with my friends, and exploring downtown Grand Rapids. I remember getting Starbucks and watching the snow fall or admiring the beautiful fall scenery at our downtown campus. I remember bursting into tears of happiness when I was accepted into my college for Speech-Language Pathology when I was a sophomore. I remember late night dining hall runs for hot wings and dessert, and 6 am CrossFit sessions with my teammates. I remember stepping foot onto the football field in my cheerleading uniform for the very first time, surrounded by over 10,000 people, and I remember stepping onto the field for the last time after having my shoulder reconstructed. Endless coffee dates with friends, late night heart to heart sessions, spontaneous road trips, traveling the world, getting engaged, getting a puppy, and deciding sophomore year that I wanted to become a blogger. I will carry these past four years in my heart forever, because they were the greatest four years of my life!

To my family, thank you for always being my support system, for constantly helping me find success, and for being my biggest fans. Thank you for attending everything of mine, and for always being proud of me no matter what! You have been there every step of the way, and I am so thankful for that! I love you!

To my mom and dad, thank you for giving me the world. Without you I wouldn’t be the person I am today, and I am forever grateful. Because of you I was able to discover myself, and I was able to conquer anything that came my way. You both are my best friends, and you helped me through every single high and low. I truly cannot thank you enough for everything you’ve done, and continue to do for me, you are my world and I love you so much!

To my best friends, Ally, Paige, Torie and Lauren, thank you for completing me. Each of you has been the biggest inspiration in my life, and my life would not be complete without you. GVSU brought me to each of you, and I will cherish every single moment that we have spent together for the rest of my life. We may be parting ways, but you will always be my soulmates and I can promise I will be texting you and making plans with you every single day! I love you!

To my fiancé, where do I even begin? Thank you for being my person for the past six years, for always going along with my crazy ideas and plans, and for truly being up for anything. You keep me grounded, you’re my best friend, and I am forever grateful that God brought me to you. Our journey is only beginning, and I cannot wait to see where it takes us! I love you so much!

This journey has been a beautiful one, and I am so incredibly thankful for every single moment. Here’s to the most amazing memories made, and even more amazing memories to come!
