Happy May! Doug and I kicked off our wedding month with a trip to Chicago! We spent four days in the city, and loved every moment!
We stayed at the Sofitel hotel right on the Magnificent Mile, and it was a dream! We headed to the bar/restaurant as soon as we arrived for drinks and charcuterie! The room was gorgeous, and the location is within walking distance of the best shopping!
We started each day with our favorite – La Colombe! We always get the oatmilk nitro on draft, I crave this when I’m back in Michigan!
Nobu Chicago was just as dreamy as expected! The food was outstanding, and the Casa Toyko drink is my newest obsession! We enjoyed a full multi-course experience, and I finished with sashimi!
Sunset and sunrise views, a dream! Chicago, you are so pretty!
Time to shop! We started at Hermes, and I picked out a gorgeous pair of shoes! This was a total dream purchase, visiting the store was incredible!
Lunch at Offshore Rooftop & Bar! The views of the city and of Lake Michigan were stunning, it was a perfect sunny (but chilly) day!
Current obsession for spring: this viral Zara dress!
An early dinner at the gorgeous 3 Arts Club Café! This is the RH restaurant, and the food and atmosphere was incredible! We started with cab, charcuterie and shrimp cocktail, and each had a huge salad (Caesar for Doug, kale salmon for me)!
A beautiful sunset, the views were spectacular!
Had to stop by the cupcake ATM for a vegan red velvet cupcake!
Our final stop, a trip to the bean! We arrived early enough before the crowd, and walked through the park with our coffee! Chicago, you will be missed!
