Happy Monday everyone, I hope you had a beautiful weekend and are ready for the week ahead!
Where should I even begin!? So much has happened in the past few weeks, and I have been SO excited to share the news with you! I’ll start with the most exciting piece of info… Doug and I are moving!! It’s with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to Grand Rapids, but I cannot wait to move into our new apartment this weekend! Doug and I were high school sweethearts but we ended up going to different colleges, so this is our first apartment together! We are both employed (#adulting) and we signed a lease for a penthouse (YES. A PENTHOUSE!) in downtown Detroit! We are officially becoming East siders, and we are already in love with the city!
Since we are moving, I am going to be vlogging the entire process over on my YouTube Channel! I am also going to be sharing tons of decorating tips and photos, and I cannot wait to show you the final reveal! I’ve been stocking up on home decor for four years, and I finally have a space to decorate!
In other news…
Since I am officially a career woman, I have been asked if I still plan on blogging. What began almost three years ago as a college hobby has turned into my biggest passion; Simply Tess is my baby and I love this blog more than anything! I have truly found myself through blogging, and through creating content, and I feel like a very positive change is going to be happening for my blog and all of my social media channels. YES, I am going to continue blogging and it is my goal to maintain my current posting schedule which is 3x per week (I know I’ve been a bit MIA lately, but I promise I’m back on track)!
With that being said, there is going to be a shift in the content that I am sharing with all of you. I have very big ideas for Simply Tess, and a lot of new content that is going to be coming very soon! I don’t want to give anything away quite yet, but I’m going to be integrating some new (and very exciting!) content and I’m also going to be bringing back some of my favorite types of posts! I promise this change is going to be a great one, and I know you’re going to love it! Also, if you have any requests or anything specific that you would like to see, definitely let me know!!
